We have been together since 1986, and married for 18 years. We are currently living in Lincolnshire, UK.
I was born in London, and moved to Suffolk in the 1970s, before moving back to London for work purposes. A change of job required a daily commute around the M25, which was not the best start to the working day, so we decided to let the train take the strain, and moved to Lincolnshire.
I am currently employed as the Head of Content Services at the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET). Previously I worked in various roles for Archant, a regional newspaper publisher.
I enjoy walking in the countryside, cooking and spending productive time in our lovely garden.
I was born and bred in Suffolk, where Sara and I bought our first house together.
Having worked previously in local government for over 35 years, with a London Borough, a public-private partnership and two semi-rural district councils, our move to Lincolnshire led to a re-evaluation. I started employment in the NHS, with the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust in 2015.
I also like country walks, my time pottering in the garden is less productive than Sara’s, and cooking I can take or leave! I enjoy a bit of casual Xbox gaming, mostly sports or driving sims, although I am partial to a bit of Lara. I also enjoy listening to an eclectic mix of music on our Sonos system.
